Hey al... If you don't want to hang onto that Klingberg 2m wing I'd be glad to give it a good home!

I was gonna say the same about the boat.

Nice catch, man.

And a BoT ARF, wow! $30?!? Sheesh.

How'd ya pull that off? I thought C List only had junk!
I also have all kinds of fuse layouts, and one canard for 100+" wings, I can make adjustments to any presently owned wing- kinda mostly sorta standardized

I recall, just barely, a large canard glider plan in RCM sometime in the (mid) 80's. Does anyone else recall that or know anything about the model and how well it flew? Even then it drew my attention as something I wanted to build, but I wasn't into R/C yet. I could barely afford the rockets I was building.

CC, you have to watch daily on CL for the deal Turns out this was the widow of a friend of mine, who passed in January, just found her little post on CL. And as she had decided on a price, I took all the wood at $30 a kit That being said, I am not a collector, I sold the Rascal, Stearman and Strarduster to a friend in Il last night, offered the K wing to Jeff via PM at $30, +shipping to him, Katie if you want the boat it's yours for $30, what I paid, it's a Dumas 45" one class ! But I do want a $125 for the ARF Bot, just for my time! hey it's a hobby, lets build some wood!

Al, sounds like a plan. So far! Let's see how much California gives me this next go-round. Is it a sailing model? RC? (Don't tell Dory, but if it sails, SOLD!)

WoW Al!
My condolences to your friend, I hope She's doin' OK
Thanks Katie for helping me get back on track
successful day @ work- finished program, got first part/inspect Ok, and 0 of 40 lbs of chips!
Now then, the important part:
Al, Could that possibly be the Weird One? other than that, there is the Sig tri Star- a propped fella
Bob Cook here@ Groups, wanted to do something different, so He and (I ferget right now, fellow from Steve's territory combined the new tipto the Sig Riser 100,
(doggone keyboard) and i started the revision to Sir regis
edit for url--- Sir Regis
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=898126

then I decided to stretch to 132" Just because i don't follow rules very well. I had also learned last April from a Sig Engineer ( gotta check out if info is public)
that the Riser wing is 'heavy' for it's strengths.which is basically a 'tap the winch' type of strong- great for the '80's
I then thought up[ the concoction of adding flaps, so the wing can go on 2 configurations.
Here is the Original- built by Rabidrue a few years ago, and my first you tube posting ( dclick the vid to see more canardly gettowerks!
enough yackety- here's the facts
edit for you tube- Riser mark 2
DVD Video Recording Sig Riser Mark 1 & 2 (5 min 39 sec)

The Wierd One rings a bell, but I'm not sure. How well do these canard designs thermal? Hi-Start Launch? There's something about designs that aren't the 'norm' that I really like, though I've yet to build any (just like those Scimitar wings).

Neat video.

Congrats on the successful program and first piece! I used to be on the inspecting end, and thumped many a machinist's noggin for bringing in junk.

Whew! Glad you're back Don.

My second interview went well. I hope. It involved 3 more assembly tests, and I aced them. One of them was a nasty bit of cable threading, with an expected completion time of 22 minutes. It took me 7. They say I would have broken the record, if they kept track of that sort of stuff. Whoop! Wish me luck, it's all up to the bosses now.
