BlitzRCWorks F-117 64mm EDF

Has anybody done a review for the JET?

I have one on order and I wanted to see how much information is out there on this one but I seem to find limited information. Does Blitzrcworks make this kit or somebody else?

and can I use the the 2 axis Flight stabilizer with it? I would think it would be an ideal jet to use one. works great for my F-22!!

Turbo, I bought the kit version, upgraded the motor and added a 45 amp esc. Sold it after two flights, just didn't like anything about it (other than its looks). That's just my opinion though.

The Gyro will work well. I have the f-35 and have tossed it in my 800mm p51 mustang. I'm guessing the way the f-117 handles isn't that great. It looks cool but also looks like it handles like a shoebox.

F-117 is basically a Delta wing so you would think it flies well- like my XB-70 so I guess I will find out later this week. but I am thinking about adding the gyro to it the jet but I will fly it first and then go from there.

Turbo, I've had quite a few deltas and still fly a few on a regular basis (fms Rafale and mirage 4000) and they fly like an absolute dream. The F117 was a different bird and acted completely different in its flight characteristics,.....like I said, two flights and it was on Craigslist.

Well interesting on how this was built but they don't give you a lot of room to place the RX and the battery compartment is TIGHT - I have a 1800mah 25c 4 cell in there hoping this will work out in the power department. but if not I am sure I have a battery that will work somewhere

f117

I have had the 64mm sitting around for months from Nitroplanes. I hogged out foam with sand paper and installed a 70mm. For the battery compartment I cut that away and I had a old battery compartment from a recked Starmax 64 mm f18. I glued that in its place and can put a larger 4 cell in it. I put the compartment up against the hole where the wires go through for the servos. Just have to finish this when I get time.

Mine flew for the first time tonight before it got too dark.. I was surprised thinking it was going to be slow..not the case and it turned very nice. The only problem I had was turning while the airspeed dropped the tail (like a SAbre dance) but I recovered and landed but I have learned that the F-117 flies like a delta to a point...then you must figure out the rest from there..but I can't wait to fly it again..

Did I say I am using a 1800mah 25c 3 cell....I think this jet is a tad bit tail heavy as well..but for now I need to get it ready for the next flight!

Does anybody know what the CG should be for this jet? I think it says 460mm from the nose but that seems to make it tail heavy.. ideas?

I've flown this jet for years. It's pretty draggy, takes lots of power to fly fast. Nice scale fly bys, gets a little Dutch roll if you don't land power on. Overall it is very forgiving, needs at least 4500 KV on 3s to get out of it's own way.

I like the way it flies but I am not sure if I would want to upgrade it yet on power..

Does yours have the bomb bay doors that open?
