Help needed Dizzy Space

I haven't messed around with a delta in years, and have a problem. My elevator function is acting like my rudder and my rudder is acting like my elevator. I am using an older dx7

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Fritz

Is that a 3 channel brick? By rudder do you mean aileron? For a three channel brick both servos are on the right stick. Clarify that and then we can talk about mixes.

Are you already using an elevon mix?

Thanks Peter. Yes I meant aileron.
I am using elevon mix,
If I reverse Chanel 2 or 3 I can get the elevator and rudder working, but not both working in the proper direction at the same time.

One option is to turn off the elevon mixing. That will leave you with one elevon on the aileron channel and one on the elevator. Set the reversing so they are correct. Then mix aileron to elevator on a mix and elevator to aileron on a separate mix. Only weird behavior is the trims will only adjust one servo so you have to use both trims to make a simple adjustment.

If that doesn't work let me know and I'll test on one of my planes to figure it out.

Pete

Thanks Peter!

I have spent too much time away from flying to think outside of what is written inside the manual.

I found this model already cut out and packed with a nice store of Durobatics foam. I doubt that I would have built it if It wasn't already cut, hopefully it will perform as well or better than the original areoace version.

If that's a 3CH brick you might need to set the TX to V-tail.

Three channel bricks have aileron and elevator on the brick. Its the 6 channel brick that has rudder and elevator onboard and would use vtail.

I have that exact set up on an ember I made in to a V-tail. you should be able to take a clean channel, rebind to it, then select elevon mix and in the reversing, reverse what would be the left elevon I believe.

Well wait a minute, I have a DX8. So that might be different?

with the brick and control rods on top it seems the elevator servo needs reversing.....
