2100 charge rate

Hi, I just purchased the Dynamite Vision Peak Ultra and a Thunder Power 2100mah pack with these specs:
2100 mAh, 2 cells (7.4V)
Rating: 10-12C (21-25A) continuous, 16C (33A) burst
Output: 7.4V Nominal, 2100mAh
Dimension: 34mm x 98mm x 13mm (98gr)
The Vision charger has adjustable charge rates for lipo from .1a to 2.5a.
My question is this- 1c charge rate for this pack would be 2.1a but I have heard its best to charge at a lower rate the first few charges. So would say 1.5a be an acceptable rate for say the first 6 charges. Then I could move to 2.0a for regular charges. Oh and at 1.5a I would expect it to take 100 minutes to charge?

Thanks
Steve

I'd use 1C. Limit your first flights to short 10 minute flights. The batteries will get better.

1C is the maximum standard however many do believe that less such as 0.7C is easier on the batteries. I use 0.7C most of the time. Addational length of time required is not proportional to the reduced rate as all Li Poly chargers reduce the rate long befor charg e is completed anyway.
As per the TP Safety Sheet take it a little easy for the first several flights.Make sure LVC is set to 3 volts per cell and try to land befor LVC for the first several flight especially. Let battery rest(cool) to ambient temperature befor re charging.
