but , even if it's silly, i am not fan of the visual /colors

I got the kit and put in this:
2208 1800kv rctimer motor
25A Esc
1600mah 3s battery
6x5.5 prop

808 #16 v2 Keychain camera
200mw Vid transmitter from hobby king.
180mah 3s battery.

Kept it real simple, all gear fits in the bay. With that setup it pulls 15A max throttle on the bench and I get 13-15min flight times. I have only had one day with it in the field so far but am really impressed.

I have also been FPVing a Teksumo 900mm for a year or so, think I prefer z-84
because all the gear is in the fuselage. I have stuff velcroed all over the Teksumo. Both great fun planes though.

my rc is 2.4 so no choice 5.8Ghz...

I am using 5.8 and have replaced the stock antennas with Clover Leaf and Skew Planar Wheel. No idea of the legalities where you are, but if they if they police like the meat trade you should be OK

Have a friend running an OSD in his, still flies nicely.

The z-84 is Not a beginner plane in its upgraded form, its much to fast and agile.

My apologies and I stand corrected but I would like to see some pics of the gear the guys have put in the canopy because imho there isn't a lot of room.....so it can be done. Plus the AUW? What sort of figures are you guys getting...?

I would have thought that if you were going to think of FPV the bigger wing would be better...carry more payload and not have to worry about layout so much.

Throwing my maiden* (I flew it right before this to get it trimmed out) into the mix. Sorry about the sound, I can't seem to find the back plate for my gopro that opens the mic up.

Up elevator doesnt seem to have much authority...Guessing I need to adjust my throws a little bit....also felt a tiny bit nose heavy..

Other than that, it's my first elevon/wing and Im LOVING it.

Pic attached. Broken motor mount result of hitting the ground with throttle on, gives you an idea of layout though. Think AUW is 440-450g.

made a start on my wing wing last night, goes together pretty well. just need to glue the fins on and the servos in.

i'm actually using the 2200kv 2826-6 turnigy motor with a 3S setup now.

Gonna order me one of these and stick on a TGY 2826 2200 kv with 40A esc.HXT900 servo's 1500maH 3s lipo.,this will make an awesome combat wing for the slope so Will be strengthening quite abit

the NTM motor (2836) was a bit heavy, needing a helluva lot more nose weight... which isn't really possible without cutting away the foam.

I havent made my mind up as to what LiPo to use, other than it will be a 3S. I need to fit the ESC and receiver tonight, so I can guage how much room I have left for battery and how heavy it will need to be.

I have 3 FPV platforms, a Bixler 2, Funjet Ultra and a H-quad, so I'm not interested in FPVing the Z-84.

I just want to have a relatively small park flyable aircraft for when I can't be bothered taking all my FPV gear out with me.

So after about 15 or so really great flights on my wing wing, it has started this bad habit of going into a death spiral stall...The wings and vertical stabs dont appear to be loose and the wings and fuse don't appear to be deformed. The servos and motor all appear to be working properly and secure.

What should I look at?

Limit the elevator travel on your transmitter and then it'll be fine.
