Durafly EFX-racer

Dear Community,

Recently ordered and received an EFX Racer (yes, the much spoken-about Electric Speedplane), but I bought it solely for the slope. Has anyone already tried it on the slope? (If the answer is 'yes', I would be happy to read/ see experiences with the plane on the slope.)

Thanks for your constructive comment TFLG, but I read that topic carefully, never came across any experiences with the EFX on the slope nor any videos, etc. Therefore I opened this thread.

That is a direct copy of a slope plane designed in SoCal, they can say it's a new design and it's made out of different material, and it's electric, but it is what it IS A COPY.

Eric

Dont expect any help with this HK Zephyr from the slope community. I doubt if any of the slopeheads on RCgroups (or at least the Socal guys) will ever buy one let alone slope it. So I suspect, at this time, the answer to your question is "no".

If you already slope then you can find out yourself how this HK Zephyr flies. You can be the first to write a review.

The only cliff I would fly anything from HK from is one over a garbage dump.

And my radio would be off

well eric,
if you fling it with the radio on there are some who are curious how it flies.
i think on some level everyone is curious.
donating is a great idea.there are few cheap ways to enjoy pss flying
and this may be one of them.and its a plane designed by one of the best.

Last weekend we had 2 guys with a whole fleet of HK cra..
and they flew ( badly ) only ftp with them.
Even with good slope lift they had to run the motor every 30 sec.

Hope they stay away from the slope, and fly at some more interesting places for them .
I have nothing against FTP or electrics but why do they have to do it on a slope when there are many better place around ?

I love flying electrics on the slope. But only when there is no wind. It gives me the chance to fly them like I like (at eye level, or below).

I'm not "curious"

How will it fly...???

Poorly. A waste of time and money. I don't see what is "cheap" about it.

Why waste your money sloping a plane with no durability that flies poorly and clearly offends the community you are a part of.
