HK Durafly Telemicro

Hi guys, what about this:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=21319

520mm wing span, 2s brushless, ailerons and leading edge slats, looks like a good substitute while I'm waiting for the UMX Carbon Cub - might take a while before I can get one of those here in Norway

Since I have a handfull of 180mAh 2s for my other Durafly Micros, I'll probably give it a try

Might be a perfect 4 ch trainer for my 10 year old when he steps up from the Champ/SuperCub as well

Greetings from Norway,
Kai W-E

I LIKE it!

It should be just right for the parking lot I'm stuck with using for the moment, both my Durafly Slick 360 and Nine Eagles Sky Surfer eat a little too much real estate to fly there comfortably.

I have some Thunder Power 250mah packs that are the same size and weight as the suggested 180mah cells.

And 'proven airframe' no doubt...that thing's clearly a midget Telemaster!

I'll wait until it hits the US warehouse and I bet it won't be long

Wow total micro copy of the telemaster from hobby lobby.
I wonder how well the slats work being vacuum formed plastic. Looking closer, they aren't slats but leading edge extensions like the nexstar trainer had. Slats are away from the leading edge to maintain boundry layer adhesion.

Not the same thing at all, the Telemicro is not another micro re-badged or re-engineered.

EPO is just too heavy....irony is that you end up with a tough micro....it needs to be.....it will crash a lot.

It would be a wonderful indoor flyer .... if it was made of a crash resident material .

Mine cleared customs in the weekend, and I'll pick it up at the post office on my way home from work - looks like it's going to be a maiden this afternoon

Maidened the Telemicro this afternoon, and had a blast.
This must be the closest thing to a Micro-FunCub available at the moment
Take off from gravel in a couple of inches, close to unlimited vertical, almost as fast as the other Durafly micros and slows down to FunCub-slow, even without the wing extensions...

Gentle stall characteristics, and with the big wheels relative to it's size - landing in rough gravel was no problem at all

Love it!!!

Kai W-E
