Oh I wish Futaba made SBUS 9-gram servos.

I'm putting together a six-servo wing on a new glider and the S3270SVi (16g) SBUS servos adds up to 96g... if i had 9g servos it would only be 54g...

Hobby King has those Corona "SBUS-compatible" servos... but... its HK...

Hey Robert,

I suggest this every time the Team members are asked to submit suggestions. I've provided currently available micro servos to emulate. SBus would even be better.

Depending on what you are doing the 3270's should be adequate.

They will have to do... because using another servo would require a wing wiring harness and i'm trying to avoid that.

Using 6 SVi servos on my wing.
2 piece wing... Suggestions for a servo harness.... These are not the two plug servos

I guess one option is just to use Y or to solder a harness

I just solder up my own. That way you can get them "just right" for your wings.

Like Bill mentioned, just make your own. Don't hard wire the servo in however. Wire in a plug for ease of replacement if needed. You could shorten the servo lead if desired to save a few grams. More work than it is worth.

I love the new servos with the micro plugs. Swapping is super easy.

Well by plan to use the 3270SVi may not pan out... 16g per servo may be too much for a 6 servo wing on a light weight model...

Manufacturer recommends the Graupner DES 427

Which other Futaba servo could be used instead of the DES 427?

3154?

3154

3154 or 3156. I use the 3156's on my Sprite 2 meters, all channels.

The 3154 is the Digital Equivalent of the 3114 right? the digital giving more precision and hopefully precise centering...
