Found some real bargain motors!

Was looking for a replacement for the Leopard i sold out of my Pursuit and ran across these, all 4 polers.

I dont sanction race right now so one of these will be going into it.

Seems like the 28-36" hulls are the most popular and most folks like to run 3674's and 4074's in them. I am willing to bet that these are so similar to the other Chinese motors out there that the difference in performance, if any, will be very minimal.

These start at $39

i'm leaning towards the gforce.........looks really cool.

I just bought 2 of the Aquastars based on Paul's comments. Let's see how they perform.

I have been using the Aquastar 2200 in my 4S mono and 2 Dr Mad Thrust 2970 ,2200kv in my4S Cat and both are very quick boats in racing

Paul put me onto the Aquastar so thanks.

I'm building up a Cheetah for 6S racing and 2 Aquastar 1490kv got the nod. So lets hope they perform like it's brother........

I wonder except the price what else is good of the motors. Any one check of the figures - how close are they with the ones in specifications.
It will be much better when someone attracts our attention on any product to orientate us on its applicability.

I picked up a 32" Blue Ghost catamaran hull off ebay to restore over the winter, with racing intentions. The class I'll race it in next season is for cats under 34", it has a 2030kv limit on 4s.The first motor pictured would probably be perfect for me to start off with, what brand is that?

I just checked my email and AtomikRC has Leopards 50% right now for Black Friday week.I just finished buying one of these 2000kv motors

http://www.atomikrc.com/products/leo...rc-cars-and-tr

Along with the waterjacket

http://www.atomikrc.com/products/wat...bp4074-lbp4082

$58 for both shipped this week, the motor alone is usually $100.

I couldn't afford an esc right now, so id really apreciate advice on one.

I probably should've asked first, the motor I ordered is labeled a car motor only.I went ahead and sent Atomik a message to double check.Id hate to have a fitment issue with the water jacket or something.I just chose it because its only 30kv below my limit hopefully they say its fine.

Well, how about owners of these motors giving their input on this thread........
