I fitted some rims, tires, and a body to the ZH-330B to get a better idea of what the finished bike will look like. I hope to have some photos by this weekend.

Since you posted this, do you know why there is another post by the administrators about your discussion subtitled product watch? Its locked but has link to direct to this main thread. Is this something you had enabled or is it random? Very weird.

I was wondering that myself. I didn't do anything to make it happen and far as I know. I have seen another one of these on some other product before.

Ask here. http://www.rcgroups.com/site-suggest...omplaints-259/

Personally, I thought it was one of those 'paid' threads, then I remembered you are no longer a site sponsor.

I've seen a few of these threads in the car subforums, but I think that this is the first one I have seen locked, presumably because Admins knowledge of bikes is quite very extremely limited, as I believe they are most/all flyers.

I would love to be a site sponsor again but it has just got too expensive for me to justify the cost.

Figured it out Bruce, kind of. I dont know why but I clicked on the "cars" channel image at the top last night and behold your discussion of this bike was highlighted. So Im guessing its somehow generated when a site admin does whatever they do to highlight a topic. Why not link directly to your discussion is beyond me though lol.http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/channels.php?id=17

my zh-330

Hi all.
this is my zh-330, wire brake version.
It has spring link steering system, wire belt drive with tensor, cabon spoke.
some of parts use sb-5's one, such as body shell, rim, etc.

I added some tires, SB5 orange rims, and SB5 yellow RTR body. The yellow body is orange in color and is a match to the orange rims. The orange body is a deeper orange and doesn't match the rims. Go figure.

Those are some very old Nuova Faor tires I have laying around. I will eventually put on some PMTs.

BTW, fitting the SB5 body to the Z-330B is super easy. All the mounting holes are in the same location as the SB5. The only new hole is for the roller bar mount.

This is my Z-330B

I would like to say that this model does not come with any instructions. However, it's almost assembled and I would say even an amateur can take his time to understand every component since the design is so simple and well planned.

This kit just radiates quality, and every part seem to fit like a glove. Putting the final pieces together was a joy.
The only issue I had was to figure out what these bits are for

Medal of honor to Bruce (2wheelhobbies) for the super fast reply.
Quote:
The rectangular bits are spacers to put between the servo and the mount. You may or not need to use them depending how the servo arm hits the brake pad.

The oblong pieces are used to reinforce the servo arm. You trim the servo arm to a similar shape.
I've went down street holes, jumped on curbs, done backflips and highsided a bunch of times and so far only one of the steering rods has bent a little bit.
This is positive, since it's such an easy fix or even cheap spare. Any aileron/rudder rod will do.

I forgot to tighten one of my motor screws, which resulted in a broken spur gear when I tried to wheelie. The mount for the spur gear has 4 holes in a square, which seems to be uncommon.

I found that the carbon fiber HPI 90T 48P is a perfect fit, just make sure it's as far in as possible or it will scratch against the body. (http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/6990/)

You will need to modify the body a bit, just like Bruce pointed out in the previous post, but you will also need to cut a small portion of the gloves and gas tank for the steering to clear.

After 2 days of driving i can tell you this is a great bike, here's dad having a blast for the very first time.

Z-330B (0 min 18 sec)

Take care,
Dave

I had the honor to test-drive a 330 today and must say it was quite nice.
Now, the choice of a new bike become more complicated ZH330 or KP13?

I'm zh330 users. And also driving my friend's kp13e too.
Both are great bikes.
Perhaps you would be hard to choose.
Choose something you will not regret it. ^^
