That'll work fine if you plan on painting it in one sweepor one color. If you go that route I heard that windex works good for thining the paint

Just to let you know those are design to apply one "heavy" coat of paint. Especially the cheaper ones

Mine is painted with regular water based spray colors and refined with Uniposca white (on ndark grey) or black (on light grey).

No other protection and it works very well. Landed on wet grass few times and no issue with the paint ( a bit scared for the electronics though )
Quality colors works better than cheapo one.

For better result, be careful not to paint where you need to glue parts.

I guess that's right... I think I'll try applying latex paint with one of those small foam rollers instead.

If you can get one that can put out a fine mist, it could work if the paint is thinned good. You got me thinking of trying it. Im just a average builder and pilot so I usually paint my planes one or two colors so I can see if Im rightside up, upside down, or going backwards

Tks guy
You know, I'm much less than average pilot, so I need to do something better in painting
Anyhow this is the only plane I did in this way. The Tomcat required this exceptional effort
Usually I use colored packing tape to reinforce depron while coloring the plane.
