Do you think it's possible to fly?
Do you have any experience with wookong-m in antarctica?
Most of friends are pessimistic.

When filming in wide open spaces my choice is always a single rotor heli. I have more speed and the best reliability and endurance in adverse conditions. The Zen works on anything....

Just listen to how smooth the propellers sound. That is a very happy copter, not like the original at all.

Terranova Bay is inside the Antarctic circle so my guess is no, it won't work correctly.

In your case, I would mount the Z15 to a 700 class Helicopter and fly it manually.

I live nearly on the artic circle. (A little bit north of) No problem with the WKM, WKH or NAZA.

Has anyone tried controlling the zenmuse with a head tracker?

It is a hybrid made from Henseleit 3DR, I have a custom conversion kit for it that will be available soon. 3DR's are hard to come by as Yan takes about 4 months to send you a kit. The great thing about this is the head design which I can run at only 1100 rpm with assymetric blades. Smooth as silk. It can also fly at close to 200 kph.
Heli Jive 120 Kontronics ESC and Pyro 700-52 motor plus Skookum 720 Awsome...

You need some experience to fly one of these compared to a S800. No chance to get the FOD.....

After 3 months I manage to make a great aerial movie
This movie is shoot with nikon D7000 in mikrokopter MK HiSight SLR1 gimbal ( I think this is the worst gimbal on the planet)

With the arms reinforcement and IMU in the center of centerplate it make a very smooth video.
I was amazed.

Now it's time to order the Zenmuse.

Monumento Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco - Loulé (4 min 11 sec)

its not an S800

here is my latest build to replace my over worked Bergan Tazer 800, and Mongoose...

with the mods made, it flys smooth and fast, can carry just about any camera with ease, I can run the head speed at 1400 with the 800's with no vibrations! and it flys like a dream.

I am almost finished with the retracts...

My goal was light is right!

Today I tried Dennys adapters and Graupner 14x8 props. And I have problem.
I went flying, started slowly until s800 was hovering and than added little bit of throttle. I heard strange sound from one of the props and s800 almost crashed.

So I landed and I saw that one motor starts to vibrate heavy when throttle over half. I tried other prop and it was the same. It even vibrated the same at full throttle with a prop off! And I noticed the same behaviour on one other motor.

Anyone had the same problems? What could I do?
I balanced all the props. I thought it was a faulty prop.

Possible Prop Cavitation, causing the WKM to compensate,

Try a lower gain setting...

Does it do it in Flight?

My S800 on a decent will start to vibrate horribly...Under load its smooth as glass, in a decent with low power setting it shakes poorly!

Have you tried without the prop adaptor?
Have you checked for hair line crack in the arm?
Make sure all screws holding the motor are tight.
