3s 4000mah and 3s5000 mah?
Need some advise
I'm soon to be completing my up grade from f450 to f550 and will have to power it. I have a 3s 4000mah lipo that powers my f450. It is all stock and I get about 20 min flight time out of it if I leave it in gps mode. If I fly it out of gps mode I only get about 10min flight time. I fly it that way quiet often. When I finish the upgrade , to the 550, I know I will have to have more power. I already have a 3s 5000 mah lipo that I don't use often.
Could I just put both of them on my f550?

paralleled batteries need to have the same voltage and capacity so one does not discharge quicker than the other. If you are hovering anything near mid throttle already adding another battery that size will really put a load on it.
