Question
How many different Tarot 450 FBL heads?

There seems to be at least 4 different 450 heads and the color is not the only difference it seems.

Listed as TL450 110-03 thru 06 . The 06 one is the only one that has a diffrent name .

I have the -04 Blue one and it has aluinum spacers (collars) approx. 2 mm (0.80)between the dampners and the blade grips. Seems to me there should be a washer between the collar and the dampner.

Only exploded view I have found of these heads is the one for thier 450 heli.

Any details much appreached.

Do all of the mentioned 4 Tarot heads use the same bearing?

Will T rex or other 450 spindles fit and what about shims?

FYI I ordered a pack of two spindles when I ordered my head and one of these was not taped either end. I guess it was made on a friday or Monday.

Perhaps I needs to phrase my question differently.

Those who have a

Tarot TL450 110-03 / 110-04 / 110-05 or 110-06 FBL head what is between the blade gip bearing and the dampner?

Once again I have the -04 Blue one and it has aluinum spacers (collars) approx. 2 mm (0.80)between the dampners and the blade grips. This then leaves the 03 the 05 and the 06.

Hi Charles,

I've tried to figure this out too, to no avail. I also recall coming across a -01 and a -02

http://www.hobby-wing.com/tl45110-01.html
http://www.toyrc.com/helicopter-spar...l45110-02.html

which appears sleeker (newer?)

and an -07

http://www.cnchelicopter.com/servlet.../26/Categories

And I thought I'd ran across a -10 but can't find any reference to it now.

Sorry if I hurt instead of helped...

That's a neat looking DFC head. Looks like phasing would be kept yet decreasing tangential forces on the link.

Tarot really is stepping up in innovation lately IMO.

Great so they now have 8 or 10 different Tarot FBL heads and there are no manuals , exploded views or parts list to be found for any of them. There are also really no clear explanations of the difference in them.

In an effort to clear up some of the mysteries on the Tarot 450 FBL heads I emailed tec support at infinity and while I still have many unanswered questions it seems I am not alone.

Snip / Summary

We also agree that it's realy a bit complex regarding Tarot's product portfolio recently especially the 450 heads. And it seems Tarot keep revising their parts and package contents from time to time. We will try to figure out the detail and hopefully to come out some guideline for people who use Tarot's head. Please keep an eye on our website for timely update.
