I doubt that there are enough JR members around the world ;-) In Europe JR radios are not that common as in the USA.

Honzo, will you fly in Belgium or only in Prague ?
Could be that the places for China will be hard fought !

Ahoj Guy,
I have hoped that Prague will be enough but you know... Looks like I'll have to re-think it, consider all the facts... To be honest, I don't know yet.

Pretty sure in this case jr = junior, not JR

They know all about Jeti radios, and that they sold into the market but never bothered to get FCC approval.
Possibly because they can't pass.

That's how I read it too - and it is the only logical interpretation anyway.

Ok, this is getting a bit off topic, but anyway...

Pat: Thanks for correction, I didn't realize that. Maybe because it will be hard for us (not jr) to get in the Czech team... we have too many good young pilots here :-(

Guy,
as you know, Jeti has a lot of Duplex modules and other products for other radios... and they didn't get FCC for those. I have no idea why should they wait for the DC 16. They could have solid Duplex customer network in the USA by now... I would say that Pat might be right ;-)

Possibly because they can't pass.

I have preached abit about how UK pilots should travel more and now with new dates for Mons and Prague, and soon announced Lithuania I think, it should not be difficult for UK pilots to travel to gain rankings.
Being from Northern Ireland UK it is more expensive for me to travel to EIM Leeds than it is to Lithuania,Mons or Prague.
I really do hope that you can encourage a few UK pilots to attend some of these competitions. They will have the time of their lifes

I'm working on some of the guys!

Pehaps if I go as the old man some of the boys will come and hold my hand

It's certainly looking promising for me to make the mons comp. Just need to figure out how to get my model over.

Is the comp just aeromusical or will there be schedules too? I'd enter both if they are being flown.

It's exclusively AeroMusicals freestyle (FAI class F6B) + a few demos I guess.

Thanks for that, would make life easier. I could quite easily bring a kit over and build it here( I'm writing this from my hotel room in Belgium) rather than transport fully built models. I'm assuming anybody can enter? Or is it invitational?

Sorry for all the questions!

Hi,

It's an official FAI contest, so open, not invitational. Just wait for the entry form to be available.
