As with their other controllers this one does not have a surge rating listed but since the 90 amp rating is based on the same rating method as the ICE 100 it would suggest that the Talon should be good for 10% less. Based on that you should be able to run 130-140 amps for short bursts(less than 10 seconds) without hurting it. I have one on my bench to put in a plane so I will find out soon enough.

The Talon 90 went flying for the afternoon on a old Avionik B01 with a 1110/2D/6.7 on 3S 6200mah battery with a 17.5/17.5 prop. I got 3 flights on it without a hitch--current is around 120 amps static. After landing nothing was more than warm--seems happy and should easily handle a bit more--I will put a bit more prop on it to get the current up to 140-150 amps.
