Easiest way to make a CB180Z (pro) DEVO compatible?

I'm new to all this, though I have become thoroughly obsessed quickly. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it. I would just like to be able to use a Devo 8s with a CB180z pro and don't know if if it's just a matter of changing the reciever - if so which one, and how hard is it?

Thanks in advance, guys...

Walkera no longer makes PCBs for flybar helis. They are obsolete and have been since before Walkera switched to Devo. The only one that might work is the one used in the V400D02, which is also obsolete and it's real iffy. Your best option is enjoy your CB180Z the way it is for now and move on. You won't find parts for long.

You can use a third party firmware called deviation. It will make your Devo 8S compatible with the old 2801 / 2601 / 2401 protocols as well as Spektrum DSM2 and others. www.deviationtx.com

Thanks! Very cool. I looked at the site, and if I understand correctly, I can bind my Nano cpx to my 8s using Deviation? Wow, that means I can look into buying a Trex 250 pro and not worry about the Rx. Sounds too good to be true.

Yes, you can bind the Nano CPX to the Devo 8S. Here is a video of the same modeler using the same Devo 10 transmitter to fly his Nano CPX

Deviation software is a much better choice than trying to find a compatible Walkkera receiver for a CB180.
