well, im doing the scheme of 00551 in 1976, when jackie flew it in 61, it still belonged to northrop, and hadnt been turned over to the airforce yet, it was a company demonstrator, and brand new. thats why it said T-38 in the place of the USAF and us airforce markings. i like the way those look, so im choosing to do the later scheme, but its still cool to know that its the same bird that was used to set records

so im working on this puppy...all servos but nose steering are in and hooked up. i was really exited when i weighed it and it looked like i was gunna hit my 4.5lbs part...then i forgot about the retracts lol. so ill probably be around 5lbs....which for a bird this size..is still really light. the retracts might be a little undersized but should be ok. working on tail pipes and fan install now...

got fans installed. ran them up. they are a little rough down low but sing pretty nice together after that tomorrow ill take a watt and efflux measurement. i might be able to hit 5lbs..but 5.25 is probably more realistic...heck...thats what my 72in f5 weighed and it only had 800w and it was a bigger airframe. this should be around 1300w and should perform nicely
