Eflite Splendor

Has anyone purchased this airplane from Eflite? This thing is pretty big, it has AS3X and can perform pattern, precision 3-D and more - so they tell us on their site. I am really interested in purchasing one however, with a price tag of $420.00 I would really like to hear if others have had good experiences and or recommend it. I purchased the Visionaire from Parkzone and absolutely love it! Is it even remotely close?

I have both. The planes are not alike in performance!
The Splendor flies faster You can toss the VisionAire all around in a small space but the Splendor eats up a lot more space in the same time
The throws on the Splendor need taming down for pattern flying - easy to do . and the plane is a very good pattern flyer
For hot dogging - the VisionAire is better.
Precision 3D?
yes - if you mean big precise maneuvers -

What are you needing the extra 220 bucks for. The plane is 199.

..hey Bill..."Yes"..! "fast forward another four months, and now the clearance price is $174. with various discounts lowering it even further, so what gives..?"

"yeah, who would have thought when they paid $420...that THIS would happen. Suppose it's something to do with the name on the side of the model..? Some deal now, EH?"
