my Naza has gone nuts after update!

Hi ive been flying my 450 quad for a few months without any real problems, I updated the Naza fc to the 3.12, took it for a test flight and it seemed fine, but on my second flight I lost all control and nearly lost the quad, luckly it hit a tree and crashed, I hit the failsafe button but it had no effect.

the only thing I have changed in the settings is - Receiver Advanced Protection ON.

I have no idea why I lost all control, and no idea why the fail safe did not work.

Does anyone have any idea what could of happened???

We almost lost ours too. After lifting off from a landing she climbed tilted on her own a few times then shot down the street and "landed"in a tree at full speed about 20 feet up. 2 props and a boom. First flight after update. No issues since.
