doc try a 13x7 xoar or a 13x6.5 apc. The xoar has way more thrust, just stings like a b!tch when you crack a prop.

The 13" prop really accelerates like no other and I think it will fit your flying style very well.

My LHS just started carrying them, so I am going to slowly switch over to Zoar. I just have to get down there and pick up a few.

The 16/8 Xoar that I use on my 60" planes is something like $12!

That is a good price. Where from?

Oh, nevermind. It's the white ones that are expensive.

9 bucks for the 13" isn't fun either.

I picked up a new set of hitec servos from tower. The three pack discount on hs65's is a great deal. I believe they were, three for eighty, after adding a hs85mg, it gets you over 100$, and you can apply a 10$ discount, add in free shipping(super saver club),or 5$ more for USPSP,and a complete set of Hitec servos cost right around a hundred bucks.. Not bad for tower!

Because I saved a bunch on my servos, i treated my laser to one of those expensive white PJN's with the red tips... I think it was 18$ bucks! I didn't look, I just pressed send..

I never really look at the xoar prices either when I buy but when I smack one yeah I know the price. The last time I looked I was going to get 12 for about a hundred bucks.

IRG runs them, and is very happy..

Ive heard the analogs are more durable for this size plane, so I stick with what I know.

I am now using a 14 x 7 Aeronaut on my 48 Edge. The power is as good or better than the Xoar imo but it does pull a few more amps. It is extremely stiff and does not break unless you really really try hard!

negative on the 5065s. I pulled them and replaced with analogs at the first opportunity.

the 5065s don't seem to offer any advantages and they seemed more fragile to me.
