Strange behaviour from ESC

Just changed motor and 45 A ESC in my parkzone T28.Hooked up a 4 cell 2200 pack, throttled up and the RPMs are not linear to the throttle position. That is speed is slow to build and keeps building for a while past the high throttle position. The pack was not charged but there was plenty of thrust,in fact I backed down.I have flown this plane on three cells before with a different motor and ESC.Nothing was changed on my radio.

Did you calibrate the ESC to your throttle stick paramiters? You need to teach the ESC where your throttle end points are. Your ESC instructions should tell you the procedure.
