You have everything grounded on that logo?

No extra grounding that I have seen as I bought it used. The boom is metal and not carbon fibre. What I had was the gain on the gyro tweaked up a bit too high and I think it needs to be dropped a point or two still. Works great.

The guys at my field all have the metal boom, but all need the grounding. Logo makes a grounding kit. One guy was looking at his v-bar info and it told him the boom was not grounded. looking closer the wire had come unhooked. The extra needed grounding has to do with what they make the belts out of.

No need to ground the Logo 500, i had mine grounded for ages then when i changed esc i removed it all & i've never had any issues. If you do ground the 500 you can only go from boom to motor mount (i also had mine going from esc neg to mount as it was the way to do it back then). If you have the SE then i believe that comes with the carbon open tail so you can ground the same way as the 600.

My gain btw (flybarred, Align GP750, 92mm tail blades 2300 headspeed) is 48

I didn't think I needed to ground my Logo 500 either when I first bought it. After a few flights with glitches, I followed the grounding advice and the glitches went away. Just one wire from tailboom to motor mount.

No reason NOT to ground and prevent the chance of a $2,000.00+ helicopter crashing not to mention the possibility of hitting someone as it's out of control.

A few dollars and minutes of your time.

It would only hit someone if you don't hit hold & land or if you fly with people walking around your flying field. If it gives you peace of mind then go ahead. I thought i was getting static hits just after i got the Logo but it turned out to be the 8900G going bad (which a lot of the uk guys had happen). Changed to a Futaba ditched the grounding & been trouble free since

You left out the Futaba part, but for all the rest (all the guys at my field) please ground you heli lol!

I have been using Futaba 2.4 as soon as it came out four years ago and have had many of the kits that everyone has had issues with and Never had a problem I could only see one difference. What I loved was people saying, "It happens with my Futaba as well!" really? If you used Futaba why would you run out and get a spektrum?

i got 2 flights with the 250 , broke the 250 landing gear . it flexed too much. flew the 250 with 450 landing skids and didn't break them . i have 3 sets of 250 skids left , after their all broken then i will switch over to the 450 skids
yep my spectrum radio glitches all the time . i had 2 runaways with nitro cars, switched to futaba , never had a problem since . even the futaba clone rx's dont glitch .

No not a TX ooooohhh noooooo, Spekrum DX7 for me & if i every change it would be for a JR DSX9. I meant i changed the 8900G tail servo to a Futaba BLS 254.

I'm toying with the idea of buying a wing & putting lots of LED's on it for a bit of late evening fun seeing as the dark evenings will be with us very shortly. Possibly the MS Composit Swift II http://robotbirds.com/catalog/produc...oducts_id=4636 There's loads of designs or a plain one & as i'm intending on LED's plain maybe the choice.

Must of been a crappy day!

I flew my 450 once after work, but the tail kept bouncing. After landing I found one of the bevel gear bearings was shot. At least it didn't revel it's self in a crash. I took the 500pro up next. Had a blast with it and called it a day.

Hm. Interesting idea. Also, I think I'll start contemplating adding glow wire to 130X (need to find smaller driver!) and night blades (I have already made a set for mCP-X - so it shouldn't that hard to make it for 130X )...

Someone's Blade's fan? Actually - I had a go with Beast last Saturday! It was too windy to enjoy it but I can feel the potential with it! But, in the mean time, I decided to go with 3D Bach - due in November here.

I put everything on paper and it turns out that Blades (Parkzone's?) planes are cheaper than if you try to make same/similar thing yourself! When you count in tiny receiver, servos and ESC - it ends more expensive than all in one you get from them. One of the main reasons I didn't already go with a wing P4ddy mentioned.
