Best Park Flyer sized plane to hover
Pretty soon it'll be too cold for me to fly at the local club. So I'm looking to build a slow-flying plane to use in the local (large) park.
I'm looking for something tha I can hover and something not too fast. A mini E3D type plane I guess. I want to build, so no arfs.
I could gear an Aveox 27/13 or buy a smaller brushless.
Any suggestions? I'm clearing the workbench this eekend for my next project.

Until very recently the obvious answer to this question would have been a Switchback fitted with either a Mega or MiniAC brushless but it sounds like Doug's new MiniFlash might actually be a plane that fits the bill even better - have a read of the other MiniFlash threads.

Thanks Doug. I'll take a look. I know the mega is about the same size as the aveox. So maybe the Aveox would work. I'm also wondering about those little moters NE sail had (has?) on sale. Only $50 with GB!
