Blade Nano QX Yaw Problem
For years I did fixed wing RC stuff, but stopped for a while when I got my pilot's license.
Since rental is expensive and my job is only so - so, I bought a Blade Nano QX. My friend who does competitions recommended it to me. It was great at first, until I did an inverted power dive into the concrete.
At first I thought I had messed up the gyro - so I turned it off, and it was still rough. It seems to get better, but the yaw problem I'm having is persisting.
When I try to yaw either direction, the plane falls out of the sky. It also acts like it has a low battery all the time - won't climb more than 4 or 5 feet, won't hold altitude while flying straight, ect.
All the blades are scratched up a bit, so I'm thinking its either that, an engine problem, or a gyro problem.
Any ideas? Thanks!

A Nano Qx is only as good as it's worst motor. First thing is to see that all motors turn with no resistance. Second is to remove the props and make sure there is no hair or other crap wrapped around the motor shafts.

You might have better luck posting in the Nano QX dedicated thread on mini multirotor board: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1897359
Take a close look at your props under a magnifier. The flight controller is surprisingly touchy about tiny surface defects or poor blade tracking. A few slightly bent blade tips can lead to twitchy and erratic flight performance. Poor prop and/or motor condition is usually accompanied by a louder than usual buzzing/whining sound.
The motors are quite fragile. If one stops well before the others when you cut the throttle, it may need to be replaced. In the mean time, a tiny drop of light oil may help.
As Balr pointed out, the motors are hair/fiber magnets. I've had tiny blades of grass wrapped around all of my motor shafts after an inverted grass landing.
