noxnflame look here: http://ldrs31.org/

I'll be impressed when someone actually gets one [xmas tree] to fly properly.

The LDRS (Large and Dangerous Rocket Ships) launches started back when a G was a big motor. The name was a poke at the NAR's then limit on motor size. The first few years the launches were held near Cleveland, with LOC's and North Coast's presence prominent.

The first few years also saw an annual increase in motor size - one year someone flew an "H", next year an "I", and so on. Everybody stopped what they were doing when new, big guy was being launched. But most of the models flown were simply large model rockets, often modified to large clusters - Chris Pearson had a very successful chad staged cluster of 7 D12s to 7 D12s model, and someone even flew a less than successful Estes Saturn 5 conversion with a 5 D to 5 D chad staged cluster (can you say "unstable").

Around LDRS-5, LDRS became Tripoli's annual launch.

Is that the same thing as what was flown at NARAM-52 in 2010 in Colorado?

I took this video of it.
