Is there a way to buy it without the transmitter and nimh battery? Iam thinking about getting one but I dont need the whole RTF version. thanks

Do a search for PZ to brushless conversion... there is a VERY LONG thread on it with many different motors and performance reports... thats your best bet as it will give you real world results... my PZ Spit is stock brushed.
