someone know the differences?

Are this ok?

How can I add this sensors to a flydusense v1.1 ( i have also a v2.0 available if it is better for accomodate that setting)

with 2S even blue LED strip keeps lighting until battery drained - almost no voltage loss.

as my mini is a heavyweight it hovers with 50% throttle, but still is nice flyable indoors.

with 3S my mini hovers at ~25% throttle, and is getting much faster - almost too fast for me (<---noob pilot)

i recommend those little nanotech powerpacks, they deliver high current over the time with little weight. will definetley buy much more of them.

did not measure flighttime - but seemed longer than with usual 500mah lipo
Where did you get these nanotechs from?
Did you ever try the Rhino 2s from here, http://www.mein-onlineshop.org/shops...775&subid=4779 ?

no, i didnt try. but that are traditionel batteries, with higher resistance, and lower C-rate. and they cant be loaded with 5C. plus the price is triple .....

i bought the nano-techs here.

Sonar, nice toy, but 3m, hmm not enough, till now i also dont found one who had a good reach.
Oh btw.
Did someone examined the Microsoft Kinect, especially his laser?I have a friend who may can get a few for us for very cheap.
Laser sounds like a good idea, but I am not sure if Kinect provides the right technology.
Kinect uses 'structured light'. The infrared laser projects a grid with unique dots over the scanning area. A cmos camera scans the area for the dots and compares it with the one how it should look like. The should look like dot grid is created during the calibration phase.
As opposed to Kinect, simple distance measurement lasers use time to flight and therefore although work in unknown environments.
So, I think using the Kinect laser could become very challenging. But perhaps somebody else knows a smart solution.

It can be done, at least to a certain degree, have a look at this

NAZA F330 3.mp4 (1 min 32 sec)

I know this isnt multiwii but its actually less, its only a Gyro an ACC and a barometer, no mag or GPS or sonar.
I would be very happy if my multwii would retain its height like that, i know its not perfect, the guy has to correct it sometimes but his tranny is on the ground the whole time, I know they probably spent ages getting the ballance right etc but that would be good enough for me.
One day maybe!

Hello,

Could someone explain me how to use the led driver of the flydusense V2 with multiwii. I don't know where to hook up the "CPU" pin of the flysudense to my flyduino...

And I think I made a mistake somewhere because I have only 2,5v on the led output pin on the flydusense.

Thank you

Sorry ... should have pointed out that this isn't my gem.
This guy has def. way better piloting skills than me.

The pusher prop setup is great and safer in my opinion, but it sure is H on props especially in tall grass.

Norbert, it's quite clear to see why the quad can keep altitude so well: In a normal quad the little pilot inside can't see the ground. Let him fly upside down and he can see the ground and keep altitude.

Now that the weather is not the best for flying outdoor (but pretty good for skiing ) I built a mini for having some indoor fun. My setup:

Hacker A10-12S, 2900KV (with self made spring steel shafts and fixing sleeves)
XP7A ESC
Drotek 6DOF IMU
Spektrum satellite
Hacker TopFuel 2S 350mAh 40C

AUW: 162g with Hacker TopFuel
PID: Not tuned yet. I just set up the quad with P lowered to 3.5 and it works fine, without Pauls cf reinforcements.

Actually I wanted to use Danals patched V1.8 with Spektrum satellite support but though I successfully flew this version on another quad, I wasnt able to get any data on the GUI. The flash process seemed to be okay because the quad flew but without connection to the GUI I couldn't adjust any values.

So I switched to V1.9 which worked well so far. The only problem was 2 times a sudden flip without cause. The first time was without giving any throttle (minthrottle position) so I guess it's a V1.9 related problem. I still don't trust this version and hope to get Danals V1.8 to work.

I didn't want yet another blue/red illuminated quad, so I have chosen pink/yellow

I just got my Flyduino and flydusense v1.2 and wondering if it will work with the following sensors:

Shown in the Top.jpg
WM+
ADXL345

Shown in the Bottom.jpg
HMC5883L
BMP085

If anyone has any suggestions or can tell me if this looks right or wrong, I appreciate it. I am new to MultiWii and Flyduino. I spent a long time researching a quad and the Flyduino always ended up looking like the best choice. Sorry for the somewhat crude cut and paste photos just wanted something quick to have someone with a clue to look at. If it looks right I will make a better version for others to use as a reference in the future. (Photos are to scale, except WM+ just estimated the size of this.)

Hi,

Here is some pics about my new proto quad.
This one is made with the following parts:
- Flyduino MEGA from Paul
- Flyduino centerplate with power distribution from Paul
- Flyduino 8'' props from Paul
- GPS BOB + FMP04 GPS running at 10Hz and 115200 baud UART
- FreeIMU v0.3.5 with MS baro sensor from Fabio/Jussi
- Super Simple 8/10A from HK
- Turnigy 2205 1088kv motors from HK
- 1300mAh nano-tech bat from HK
- HK-500GT Landing Skid from HK
- 10x10mm alu square tube
- 4mm foam sensor support from HK
- ASSAN X8R6M with PPM sum output

- diameter size (between 2 opposite motor axis: 36cm)

I hope it will be the perfect setup to test various GPS code for MultiWii.
Thank you all for your support and merry Christmas
