Nose ring

Mine does not! Am I missing something, or is one available?

(& if so, please point me in the right direction!)

TIA.

Oh, I am also missing the instructions, so if anyone can post them, I would be much obliged.
The red version did not have the plastic ring, only the silver version. I could use one as the nose of mine has a ding or two. I also have the instructions. They are on a poster size single side single sheet that measures about 24 inches by 12 inches, and I have no way to scan that into something I can post, sorry.

Thanks for the info. (Still not found a store with it listed in the spares)

However, a kind soul has just sent me a scan of the instruction sheet.

Any pointers to a "nose ring" gratefully received.

Got a "nose ring" via the importer. (Thanks guys)

Started to assemble & went with twin servos for the elevator + a carbon rod up the fin for a bit more strength.

good idea on the C/F rod ....mine when it got close to 100 mph would roll uncrotroled ...so you had to fight it and back off the power ..we assumed it was the tail twisting .,we had rudder and the servo cutout could have weak'n it a bit

That is exactly how I lost mine!! At the bottom of a dive it just rolled over and went strait in. Many times in high speed passes/turns, it would want to turn out or roll??

yeah we saw it the first flight when Corsair nut was ringing it out ......i never went there again ,still have mine but it looks like a real mig ruff. it flies well and with the same power as my Venom F-86 it would fly circles around it .a bit harder to land though .you have to touch down just right or it starts bouncing ,and the nose gear would snag our matt runway and tear the gear out .

I wish I could get more speed out of my mig. I think it is slow. I am running 5s and a cyclone power 2800kv motor on a het 6904 fan. The speed of my mig is neck to neck with the venom f-86 flying on stock power.

Actually mixing in spoilerons and elevator took all the bounce out of my buddies Mig on landings, he greases them every time.
It's Very Fast! I have a video I'll upload shortly.

Setup:
HK Alloy DPS 70mm 10-Blade EDF
6S / 3300 to 4000 mAh Lipos.

AS,

I think the intake is my problem. I did not do the mod. I might tear into it and complete the mod. I did do the elevator mod though. I have a 9g servo on each elevator. I also added a scale rudder too. Overall it is a sweet jet. I just wish it had more speed and vertical.

I only ran 4S 2W18 and an Eflite rotor with great speed/vertical!! You can run the Cyclone 3300 on 5S and that will have some GO! I run that in my Habu2.
