My TRIcopter v.2.5
Here is the finished project of the RC Exploere TRI copter v.2.5. David has done an exelent job, especialy on the build description. I have had no problems in the building process. Thanks a lot David.
The worst thing, is the waiting on all the parts from HK. They are always sold out (Thanks to David?) It took me at least tree month to get the all the parts, but it is worth the wait. Props came from a friend in Denmark (Thanks Peder) and I already crashed one prop ;-)
I think there must be a lot of Davids TRI copters out in the world!!!
I'm going to expand the KK borad with a MEMS module, witch is a extreme stabiliser. Coming in march.

Crash and this is what you get
Strips are good. A lot of them broke in the "landing" witch is good. The frame survived.
Soldered new servo, flash and motor pins on the
Soldered new 3-legged Vref thingy
Can't do anything about the yaw gyro (yet).
Right now I'm trying to get the board up and running without the yaw gyro.
<edit> The yaw gyro can not be repared so i'll use this board with the new MEMS gyro add on.
I'll be back

I'm back in the air, witch is great! But two of my motors suffers, so I have balanced them with one and two strips and new barrings.
I also installed LED underneeth the frame. They flashes at low voltage.
Also a protecting box for my precious KK board

Free FPV rides!
So I go my FatShark goggels and made a temporary setup, giving free rides to friends and neighbors. I'ts very fun to see and hear their reactions. Haven't yet tried the goggles myself when flying. Gotta have a friend near by to step in
OSD is under way and soon I'll be flying FPV. I will fit the camera on my fixed wing glider and try it that way first. I can't wait
I also fitted the Tricopter with a landing gear undercarriage. I looks okay, but I think i will put little wooden ball on as fixed wheels, as it tends to "dig in" when landing in soft ground.

I'm sure many have read of how to create trikopter from the Swedish guy http://rcexplorer.se/projects/tricop...copterv25.html
trikopter made to this instruction and there are several questions to the esteemed public
1. It is rather strange behavior on the tail servo
if move Rudder stick - servo moves but:
movement to the right - well
Move left - almost servo does not move
Trimming with subtrimers achieved approximately the right-left, a little bit
even with an increase in the gas servo begins to deviate
2, we can not put CCW (reverse rotation) prop? are there any pitfalls?

Crached KK seems not to respond correctly, so I will modify my good KK.
Hmmmm I need the PPM decoder Shuld have read the READ ME file
PPM decoder is ordered now. Just have to wait another week to get airborne
