Hi

Currently my only heli is a wltoys v912 fixed pitch. I have flown cp helis on the sim and i am proficient with the planes and such. Would u guys recommend the 350 cfx as a next step up?

I would like something pretty close to the 912 in size and i do not want to have to buy another heli or upgrade it to do 3d with.... Also does the new dx6 have enough heli settings that are suitable to fly this bird with?

The last thing is besides the hs5055's and a new canopy what will be the next thing to have for spare parts?

Thanks
Scott

Hey Scott,

Are we talking 300 or 360 cfx?

I have both, in fact I own all cfx, they are a great fliers.

I can't recommend, I went from a 180 cfx to a 600e... 🙌😈

Some say it was a bad move and dangerous. But it's taken my flying skills to a new level.

Dx6 is a great choice, I've used it since it dropped. Plenty of settings.

Always have spares of main gear, feathering shaft, main shaft. Landing gear.

The 300 cfx is what iam looking at, i do not need anything bigger than the 300 right now. Were i fly at almost in my backyard there is just enough room for my 912 too stay out of trouble....

Set pot 1 on the AR7200BX to the mid-point. That should eliminate the wobble unless there's a mechanical problem.

The tail kick is likely due to tail gain being too low or tail pre-comp is enabled. You shouldn't need pre-comp with this bird.

Be sure to read the BX's manual - all this info is in there.

i set all pots to mid point. I'll give this a try when I get home..

Which controls tail gain?
Pre comp was enabled because it was kicking without. I'll turn it off again and try..

I've read the ar7200bx manual a few times. Still not clicking with me..

Tail gain is controlled through the TX, not the pots.

Tail gain is set through the transmitter (channel 5 if memory serves). If you're using the DS76T or Spektrum H3060 servo, start with the value shown in the manual. If you're using a KST DS115MG or DS215MG, then set the gain much lower (between 25-27).

I use Deviation on a Walkera radio so I can't help you with a Spektrum model. Look on page 4 of the 300 CFX manual - tail gain info for the DX6i is in the Gyro section. Use 73%.

The manual says 46% so u should be ok but also depends may need to go up or down just see how the tail is holding.
