Yes Sir. . . They are printed out of my HP laser printer on a extra clear legal sized decal sheet . . Then I go over then with clear tape.

They are bullet proof after that.

Next time I order some I'll do a double order and send you some to try out . . . On the house.

Ah, I see. I've used clear spray laquer with sometimes good results in the past, also Krylon acrylic spray. Tricky part is to make sure the first couple of coats are very lightly misted on. Too much at once melts the colors.

I've gotten away from the decals, I use sign vinyl now (like Callie's). For small and plastic models I use either paint or water-slide decals, so there's no edge between colors.

To be honest Sir these new epoxy paints for appliances are the highest gloss & highest durability I've ever seen.

Tail slot. . .

I've now cut in out the tail-boom slot so I can insert the Sup1-11's stabilizer.

And now I've repeated the same process with the American Airlines 1-11.

Only difference is this bird has an all-balsa stabilizer.

Bea was nice as was the later British Airways but Mohawk was a gem. There are lots of nice liveries from many countries and they all suited the aircraft. The Bea scheme with the red wings was great but added a load of weight to the aircraft.....

Yes indeed I love the BEA livery as well. . . . I also like the late 60's Aer Lingus, KLM, and SAS liveries. . . . Even laker.

EDF mounts & pylons . . . .

I'm now installing the two 1-11's balsa engine pylons and carbon fiber EDF rail mounts.

Here are the super-lite styrofoam wing-boxes for both of my new 1-11's. They come in at half the weight of the prototype.
