Guillows SE5a conversion by Corey
My name is Corey and I am 11 years old . I'm doing a school project about WW1 . This is why I chose to build the S.E.5a because it came from the WW1.I think its a really plane. My dad is helping me with this and so far its really, really fun.
We even went to the R.A.F museum in London and on my video it has a video of me there talking about the planeAlso on my very first youtube video I showed you how I did the elevator and rudder, which was the easiest things out of them, all
This is the video of the build so far and me and my dad in London.
If you have any tips or sugestions please give them to me.It would be great.

Welcome to our little band of modellers.
You'll find the SE5a one of the easiest to fly WW1 types. Thank goodness you didn't pick the Camel instead.
What equipment are you intending to use to power and control your model?

Most of us 'oldies' wouldn't dare put our gnarled old hands on a video let alone show all the mistakes we make along the way Welcome to rcgroups Corey - a new film star in the making ?

When I was 11, (I'm 62 now), I saved my allowance for a long time in order to buy a baseball glove. When I finally went to the store to buy the glove, I came home with a Gillows SE5a kit. I even started by building the tailfeathers. I've been building and flying models ever since.
I hope you have as much fun and satisfaction with modeling as I have.
