Well done boys!
Jono could you just run the typhoon linkages underslung and do away with the under/ over setup? That's probably the way I would go.
Cheers mate

Hey Jono, the RCRCM planes (and many other hollow mouldies actually) are renowned for the skins lifting off the dragspars,, which really causes flutter. Go along the hingeline with the control surfaces open, pulling the top and bottom skins apart to see if the skins have separated. If so just dribble some CA in there and press them back together. My Willow started to flutter really markedly at Cass in Oct 2012 and Alex and I checked and found the split dragspars, CA'ed them and it was good again.

Thanks for the tip. I will have a look.

After extensive repairs, the D60 is painted and ready for me to install gear. There is now light at the end of this very long tunnel.

One of my friends came I to my shed the other day and asked me if I had taken up modern art. He was looking at all the over spray from painting various aircraft on my work bench. Just goes to show how "modern art" can be a load of crap

+1 nice Jono...

I've just been to the louvre in paris and the Ludwig modern art museum in colone germany. And your would give them a run for the money.
I'm amazed at how much they get paid to display in the Ludwig. One lady had a large piece of red carpet. 10m x 5m ..... Hanging and she got paid $50,000 euro to display it. Another was a set of stairs made from ply wood called "stairs of life" another $50,000 euro to display it. Your are in wrong game ha ha.

There was this nice rocket in bacharach germany , in the middle of a park , with no explanation with it.

Jono
Maybe not $250K but when I worked in a paint shop a coworker would staple canvas to a board and we would spray paint parts on it and he would take and frame it and sell them on street corners. Made a nice tidy profit!!

Neil and I had a good session at Mt Mangere yesterday.

Only 20kts or so and the old volcano is a tad ugly for DS at the best of times, but up by the trig station it was quite flyable.

Neil got the sunbird to around 110 mph,
fluttering it a couple of times in the turbulent conditions and I got the 48"JW' Hamster up to 85mph.

Not huge speeds, but great fun after a rather long dry spell.

Let the wind blow!
