Searching

I know that this is an old thread but, I'm gonna give it a shot anyway.

I am looking for one of these in red. I sent an email to aerodragon@163.com earlier today inquiring about purchasing one and hopefully he will get back to me.

I realize that there may be issues with the model but I want one anyway.

My reason is that my uncle just put in an order for a full scale red Calidus and he should have it in a few months.

My hope is to get this as a gift for him that I would build and if it flies.....great but, it would probably serve its duty as a static display. Like a mini-me to the full scale one that he is getting.

I have said all of that..to say this; if I don't here back from the email that I sent, does anyone have a "RED" one that they would be willing to part with???

Thanks

Thanks.

If I don't hear back from Louis, I'll give that a try.

Hi Jay,

If you still can't find one you may be able to contact Dave at Radical RC for one. I used to work there and I got one from him. You won't find it on the store as we're still trying to figure out it's secrets to make it fly right.

Give him a ring and he should be able to fix you up with one.

I have had one of these models for well over a year with out getting it into the air and have had a couple of attempted ROG's followed by a "tumble "that has damaged either the stab, fin or prerotor drive gear.
So I am interested to here from any one that has successfully flown this model...because I am aware that a few have been sold.
I think its about time that I got this model into the air as its been sitting on the bench far to long and would be very interested to know the successful settings for this model.

Here is mine flying,

Pre rotator shaft had sheared off so it took a long take off run to get the blades up to speed. Have since replaced the broken shaft but have not flown it since, its hanging up waiting for me to get motivation back. In fact I would consider selling it for the right price, I have put about £350 into it but it is flight ready and sorted.
