I got my TT-25 in the mail today! These things are intense! I was VERY happy with the sound output on my 1400mm corsair with two TT-25....so much that I am about to place an order for one more so I can have 2 on my spitfire!

You are the first customer to report! Congrats!!! I am glad you are happy with them. Did you get air time with the Corsair with them yet?

No flight time yet, and I only just barely set it up. It was a quick test fit on my lunch break...but it was enough to hear the difference! It is a much more crisp sound...definitely louder.

The corsair is not quite ready to maiden yet, it is going to be the Spitfire that I get to do a test flight with, most likely this weekend. Also, I have more time with the SPL2 in the Spitfire, so it will be a better model to do a comparison with anyway.

Using the TT25 and the SPL2 at the same time

Hey Andrew,
Received my TT25's today and they are really impressive. Great shipping and service as always.

In my application, which is a Seagull balsa model, I want to use an SPL2 speaker in one location and the TT25 in another location, both connected to a V4 card. I already had the SPL2 cut and installed in a hidden spot under the cowl and was ready to cut the fuselage with a grille when you announced the TT25. Have you tried this scenario yet or have any concerns with doing this?

For everyone curious how the TT25 does in a balsa model, I'll post a video this weekend.

Thanks Andrew for a great product and great service.

You are more than welcome. No issues at all with mixing one of each. I have tested it out in that configuration on the bench several times, and there are no issues with it.

I had mine in two days and installed in 10 minutes. I will give a blow-by-blow in the v4 talk thread, as this one is for news/announcements.

Super service and kick butt product!.

I can't wait to get and try those trnasducers!!!

Also: web page:
http://www.test.mrrcsound.com/sound-system
Black on dark blue = very hard to read.
This particular page (other?) also does not have any way to navigate back to the main menu etc.
The V4.1 outline also does not mention what sounds it comes with.
- I guess it is still all a bit under construction.

Cool. In sure our vid will be up soon on the site to help represent the awesome product. I can't wait to try the revolutionary new system!

FYI our vid has two speakers. One below and one on top.
Glad you liked the vid.

Andrew, is the TT-25 a retrofit option for v3 units? I can't think of any obvious reason why it wouldn't given you've stated the amp draw is nearly identical and the v4 will drive a mix of speaker types, but I wanted to double check. Thanks!
