Question
What prop for 3:1 gear drive on Wingo

I got a 3:1 gear drive unit with a sp400 given to me for my Wingo. I'm not sure what prop to use. I'm planing on some aerial photo's.

10x4.7 or 9x6. The 9x6 will draw a tad more power and result in
a small decrease in flight time. Many will say an APC flowflyer prop work well. And indeed they do...they are also very suspect to breakage. I have run a Graupner 9x6 and have nosed in on occasion. It never has broke and its still on the plane. More durable near the hub than an APC slowflyer peop.

I don't think that big a prop will clear the fuse and how in the world do you break a prop since it's a pusher???? Best thing to do is buy the recommended GB and then use the 8 X 6 APC SF prop recommended. Flys great with that setup!
