I think it would be fun if everybody used a piece of cartoon wood in their next build. What about it Tom? Maybe we pay a little for the aggravation? Then we could have a 'meeting of the cartoon minds' thread, 'cartoon wood plane' fun fly and etc., then eventually take over the world!

When I was little, my mom bought us some of those cartoon wood decorations. Me and my sisters painted them up and our parents still hang them on the tree! I get a kick out of seeing Tom use that wood in his builds.

I'm glad that you found some enjoyment in those kits, Aaron. We used to produce them by the thoudands.

I made the cabanes from some oak scrap that I had on hand. They were then epoxied to the fuselage sides, in the cabin area,

Sorry. No pics today. Not much to show.

LMAO guys!

I think I bring some carton wood with me.... I'll put it in my next build!

Tom, you're getting the fun part! All I have is a nasty rain over the last 4 days.

We had 6 inches of snow last night, Wil. When I took Talle outside, this morning, it was raining on top of it. My poor 10hp snow blower could barely move that stuff.

I'll fix you up with some cartoon wood, Wil. All you need to do is show up.

By the way, did April tell you that I am going to become a grandfather again ?

After the cabanes had cured, I laminated some cartoon wood and cut out the wing mounts. They were then epoxied into place.

Tomorrow, I'll do the other side.

As usual, Talle provided enthusiastic support.

When she turns her back on you I wouldn't call it enthusiasm. But at least she moved.
