I hold the right wing with my left hand, power it up to the point that i feel the wing wanting to fly out of my hand and then gently throw it.

Ones i get to maiden it I'll try to get a friend of mine to make a vid.

I have a new swift for sale in electric planes if anybody is looking for one.

Check out the Popwings, they are only 4 inches wider than the Swifts, and the mini Popwings are only 2 inches bigger then the mini swifts-

It is not the same manufacturer, and we have not tried them- anyone else have any info on these- are they as durable?

I do not know how good the HK ones are yet. I just quickly read your post and did not realise you are selling them or I would not have been so rude as to mention the other ones.

My Swift II, I got this for a Christmas present, and I'm really impressed at how well it flies. I'll take a video and post later.

Please dont kill me now but how is the Swift 2 compared with the Teksumo? In size and other .. can it use the same motors and props?

A couple of friends have just received them so will know soon how they go.

The two HK ones similar to the MiniSwift and the Swift are a couple of inches wider each so should be great. Just checked the Swift 2 is 800mm wide and the Tek is 900mm but a completely different shaped wing.

It depends what motor and prop you are using as to whether it will work on the "other one". My Turnigy 2730/3000 will power almost anything.

The Teksumo specs are:
15A~20A ESC
2208 1370kv or HK2818 1350kv Brushless Outrunner Motor
7x5 or 6x5 prop
800mAh~1000mAh 3s Lipoly Battery

That is pretty slow stuff so I'd say anything you have would power it.

What motor are you looking at using?

That would be a good motor for both planes. I bought one and was going to go to the slower KV motor but ended up trying a good 2S - 2200ma LiPo on my 3000kv one and it seems to go well still. So may stick to the high KV motor.

My 3000kv one is only suppose to go on a 2S anyway and goes good. I have all the heavy FPV stuff on it so I do not need a fast plane.

The motor you are talking about goes on a 2S or 3S LiPo but a 3S would be better.

Umh what i picked to my cart on HK is Nano-tech 3s 1000mah 25-50c and 12 amp plush esc, the 2730 1500kv motor and some hxt900 servos. Is that good enough?
And a 7x3,5 prop.

That all should be good. The 12amp ESC is all that is required by the motor specs but I would have gone for at least the 18amp Esc but that is just me.

Time will tell if it is big enough but like I said what you got is suppose to be perfect.

All the stuff you got should be great.

There is a few tricks to putting it together. I mount my motor on the mount with a prop before I glue the mount with thick CA . That way it is easier to see if the mount is straight.
