FDR is without a doubt the most liberal president we have had in recent history IMO, and to claim Obama is more liberal than FDR is laughable. Obama if anything is trying to preserve what FDR started ie the New Deal and it's work and social programs.

So, since he's trying to preserve what FDR started, how can you say he's not as liberal?

Mikefast seems to believe that the president is of the "far left", and I don't consider FDR far left, but a man that promoted and brought about democratic principals and ideas. Maybe his definition of "far left" would make things clearer.

Like I said before, if you are far enough to the left, than everybody else is to the right. Could that maybe explain why you feel the way you do?

The 2nd debate on foreign policy is going to be a challenge for Romney. This is because Barrack Hussein's foreign policy and Bush's foreign policy are almost identical. This will make it difficult for Romney to contrast himself.

I like Romney, but he is absolutely wrong with regard to going into foreign countries and "helping" the people there.

No aid of any kind whether it be war, food , medicine, etc. for any country ever again.

If the world is going to hate us anyway, it is a lot cheaper to give them nothing.

If FDR was so far left than there sure have been millions over the decades that have benefited from his programs and many Americans that have and still support his ideals. Are these Americans of the far left also, you know the elderly that survive today with SS and medicare for instance? I don't consider myself any farther left than many of these folks.

SS and medicare are both bankrupt.

I never said people didn't benefit from the programs, I just said they were bankrupt, and they didn't work because they were government programs. Government programs never work. SS was a huge lie to the American people just like ocare is. Same crap different decade.
