Moebius Flying Sub RC Conversion

HI!
I converted my Flying Sub static kit over RC. She glides very nicely under the water and is very maneuverable Since I made molds for all the parts and have a bunch of surplus drive units, I can make a few extra conversion kits if you guys are interested. I figure around $99? Everything included except RC gear.

Here's a vid - Man, I had no idea my bald spot looked so bad.....

Nicely done! I'm in Euclid, where do you run your boats? I haven't found anywhere near me (around E. 260 and the Marginal).

HI!!
I work in Euclid but live in Mentor. I usually run my subs at veterans lake off Hopkins Rd. It's a nice pond.

I live in Euclid (E 266 & Lakeshore) and work in Mentor - Hobbytown. I've run some of my boats in Colby Park in Wickliffe, best access is from the NE corner of the pond. Painesville's Kiwanis Recreation Park is also nice, gravel parking area near the north end close to the water.

HAHA! I pop in your store about once a week for supplies. I hope you guys never go away (Like Strongsville).

I'm going to give Colby a try. I've been flying quads so much lately, it was nice to relax and fly a sub.

I'll have to check both of those sites out, thanks!

Didn't know the Strongsville store closed.
I remember when you could find a hobby store within a few miles in any direction...I especially miss National Hobby on Ridge.

I can't believe you brought up National Hobby! I grew up in Parma and we would ride our bikes there on Saturdays. Great times.

I was real sorry to see it go...That and Hobby House downtown (they even had Pocher kits). Getting harder to find any good shops.

I see...
you like to build Flying subs.
I am that guy that bought the sub pictured many years ago. I still have this sub.
You do good work.
I thought you'd get a kick out of seeing it.

Kool, wasn't trying to steal away credit. I know that SilentHunter built a full functioning one too using twin water jet propulsion. I'm not a sub guy though, just a EDF jets guy that has seen Silent's work.
