Home made wing bags

I got tired of banging wings around when carrying to and from the field. So I sought out some wing bags. I found that they are rather expensive even for cheap ones. $20.00. As soon as I saw your photos I could tell what you had done. That is a great idea. I will have to do something similar.

I did the same thing with one that was designed for a car windshield heat barrier. I cut it in half and used sticky back velcro to close them up and they fit the wings of my Extra 300 perfectly.

Great job creapyd and they look great as well.

I have this for a Piper L4. Only problem I had was the duct tape I used did not stick over time in the garage when it got hot and kept comming off. It's now in the basement and the tape is not comming apart anymore.
