I made a plywood jig to hold the landing gear parts for silver soldering.

Here is the gear after soldering. The only thing left to do is add the 1/4" axles that will be joined to the hinge in the center of the spreaders.

Finished the gear today. I will add cross bracing wires eventually.

OK, Teus. I give up. In pic LG-8, Just how does one get the pivot pins into the holes after the for and aft horizontal members are in place?????:-))))))))))))))))

Les,

I drilled holes in one side of the tubes that slides over the horizontal members and placed the pins to hold the axle first before sliding in the last member, so the pins couldn't go anywhere

When everything is in place the "H" is fixed with silver solder.

I should have built a fixture, like you did, to hold the parts in place when building the Top and Bottom King Posts .

I really neaded one more clamp!
