Tamjets 1/12 F16

I just acquired a kit but no manual. Emailed tams twice and got no response. Anybody got a pdf of the manual? Thanks.

its a fantastic model. the key to making this one fly great is your cg. the manual says 4.25in from LE but it needs to be 4.5in from LE. what this means is there should be no electronics forward of the forward motor hatch former. the only thing I have up front under the canopy hatch is batteries and the air tank for the retracts and brakes. this model gets nose heavy fast so proper planning pays big with this one, I fly mine on 10s and have 1.5oz of lead in the tail cone to get proper balance.
good luck with your new F16 they are great models

John

What are servo recommendations for the tailerons? I have some 140 oz servos available. Are they enough?

140oz is more than enough. I believe Tam was recommending the JR DS3421 for the tailerons and they have 65oz of torque.
