Transmitter Battery

I am looking for a Futaba transmitter battery (NT8LP ) and reciever battery (?) to replace old one in an old futaba conquest radio. I would appreciate any input as to the most reasonable place to buy.

Futaba NT8LP for a FP-T7UAF or similar, has no replacement battery according to Futaba or tech. serv. But they're WRONG !
a NT8iB works Great. You need to put a female Futaba "J" plug on the transmitter power cable. And That's All ! It "Fits" the battery compartment, it's a 9.6v , 600mAh nicad. Use the same "factory charger" and "times" ! I did a quick charge it, it ran for 45min. before the
"low bat" chirped. Then I did the full 15hr slow charge, and got 8hr 20min run time. Anyone need more ?
Check out this link for replacement connectors:

Well they're not wrong, the battery won't work without a modification. Sure it's dead simple to change the connector but it's still true that there (apparently) isn't a turnkey replacement available.

This gentleman will make you a pack for your radio as will a number of other vendors but I've had really good experiences with NoBS.

If you want "turn key", Batteries plus will rebuild one for you, if you take your old core in.

Turn Key ? Are you really that limited ?

Try a battery pack that uses "AA" batteries
