I ordered the Ariane 2 from Monica at TFL Hobbies and it arrived Christmas Eve. Thanks Monica.
It is also available in carbon fibre.
Although I will be setting it up to race on 6s, I put a 4s setup in it to see how she runs.
As it turns out...very well I think. Very stable, & smooth in the turns.
This 4s set up is...
TFL 4092 2100kv motor
Seaking 180A ESC.
Haiyin 4s 5000 40C lipo
But with the battery on the battery mount it was very nose heavy & ran wet in its first run. So the pack was moved back to the motor where the ESC should be, & that was moved to the side.
After a few strut, tab & fin adjustments, this is a video of the third run of the latest addition to the 'Wet Track Racing' team. The Ariane 2
Just thought I'd share.

Nice run, though I think the hull can use the extra weight of 6S.
Is that motor 'just' 2100KV on 4S?
It sounds like a lot more rpm...
I tried to find the motor you listed, but the TFL site is very slow to load and I can't find any 'TFL motors'...
Please enlighten me.

Yes 2100kv on 4s. But only a small prop at an M445. But the TFL motors are one of the smoothest motors I've used. They all seem to really 'sing'
Like the TP Power motors, TFL have also recently changed all the Kv ratings of their motors in relation to the number of winds. The motor list I have is now out of date.
I did ask Monica from TFL to send me a new list but I haven't seen it yet.
A lot of things can't be found on their website so you have to contact them direct.
Monica is a member here on R/C Groups. You can contact here here, or direct at TFL.
Might try a 6s setup this weekend. TP Power 4092 1350kv motor with a 446/3 CNC prop. sounds like a good package. That's what's in my 41" Osprey that I raced last year. So in a 36" hull? Hmmmm!!!
This hull has heaps of potential I think.
All the best for the new year.

Have a look here -> CLICK.
Don┤t know whether TFL-US or China also has an 4092/2100kV motor.
But this one with 2200kV you can buy at Maik┤s Shop here in Germany.

Smooth it is Nick. But very touchy on the rudder. I'll have to dial out some of the rudder throw.
But no. The motor in it now for our 6s class is a TP Power 4060 1600kv.

I have just ordered one of these from Joe in Adelaide - FG version as well.
I have a TP 1600 KV motor or even a Nue 1527 1.5D on the bench which I can upgrade... but..
from the video it appears that the 1600kv motor is about the same speed as the earlier 2100KV TFL motor on only 4S, - do you think you can get more speed for the 6S set up?
Ken in Perth.

Hello, i have seen your video on youtube and its looks great.
Thinking to order one ariane in fiberglas and i have a few question to you since it not so mutch info about this boat after a google search.
How is the paint? Is it paint over the stickers?
Is the hull tick enough or do it need rainforce?
Im going to use the box that it came in to transport it to the water, do you know how long the stock box is? Im not driving a big car so i wonder if i get space to it.
Thank you if you have time to answer me

The 6s set up is definitely faster & that X646/3 prop I was using for testing, is on the small side. So there is more speed in it yet.
The Neu motor you have will easily spin a larger prop if you are just after straightline speed. But this one is set up for oval racing so it has to run 7 laps on a single pack. So prop size has to be a bit conservative to finish the race without turning the pack into a pillow.
But you will love this thing.
The gel coat is fine. The graphic are all stickers, but there is no clear coat over them. At least, not on mine.
The glass work is all good but I always re enforce the motor mounts & battery trays it these RTR type of boats with some 1/4" carbon rods epoxied/glassed along them. The type of glue used at the factory can let go in a good tumble.
See the pic.
I think the box was about 40" long. Maybe a bit less.

Nice job you have done with the battery tray and motor mount
I thought maby it was clear paint over the stickers since the genesis and smash shark have it but i see that the pursuit dosnt have that.
Just afraid to get the stickers off when i use electric tape?
How is it to tape the rear of the hatch? Is it a hassle because of the grip mark to the hatch?
The boat looks big! Have you own any other tfl boat you could compare with?
I want a new tfl v boat and it stands between ariane, outerlimits or pursuit
