I can't imagine how you got it to fit. Can you post a picture of it?

I really just pushed the servo in. Here are the pictures attached of the rudder and the elevator.

Mine is nearly finsihed, but did you adjust the motor opening in the cowl?

The motor hasn't that much space, at least my hacker motor A30 14L hasn't.

The elevator deflections are incredible. I have to adjust the down ellevator ar it will hit istelf.

The cowl doesn't leave much space for the motor.

Did you cut out the cowling a bit?

I generally don't, but on this one I wanted to run the bigger prop and needed more cooling, so I opened the hole a little with a Dremel sanding drum.

I finished my yak, now I just need a spinner, a receiver and the Cortex and I'm ready to go.

About the spinner:

Do you know the measurements of the drilled hole in the aluminum backplate?

I ordered a Aeronaut 51mm spinner now, which has a 7 mm drilled hole with spacers.

This is not perfect as the motor shaft is only 6 mm.

Flew my newly-acquired Yak- it's a honey! very smooth, clean lines. Found a great CG spot I like and now I'm just doing some KE coupling trimming for it. It flies beautifully and looks so nice. I really enjoy this airframe!

Luv3D,

Awesome, I love my 48" Yak. Taking her to E-Week this Saturday

Doesn't this plane just beg you to do rollers? Yet she still gets down for low and slow with the best of them

I do love flying pattern with it, but I really have it set up to do XA. I'm flying mine on a 14x7 with a 685kv motor, 60A airboss ESC. it is really fun to toss around and rolls better than any plane I have owned.
