Thanks for doing this! Jumping in, but still need to do lots of reading. I can see the surface I think, but the water is still just a little over my head. Can't wait to get going on this. REALLY like Bob's 8" arm version.

Order these two boards first:

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...oducts_id=9218
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...oducts_id=9115
& this: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/pro...roducts_id=116 so that the FTDI Basic Breakout Board can connect to the Arduino for programming.

Then find a source for the Wii Motion + Boards. I found mine at GameStop for $17.00 Refurbed.

While waiting for the boards to come in, start reading Alex's website here: http://radio-commande.com/internatio...copter-design/

Then download the Arduino software here: http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
Then Alex's Wii GUI here: http://radio-commande.com/wp-content...ultiWii1_3.zip

Load both and start getting familiar with them.

This project looks harder than it really is. Your soldering skills are the most important part!!! Invest in a magnifine headset or a soldering station with a magnifine glass built in found at radio shack. Also, your soldering gun is very important. You want a hot iron made for small electronics. Here's what I'm using. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...atalogId=10053 40 watt heats up to 900F.

Get started.

ok.................... you guys have suckered me into another project

Tim's T-Wee flies so good I couldn't resist. Ordered the electronics last night. Now I'm going to cannibalize my original "Bob the Signguy" tri and make it a high tech T.

Tim, Do you plan to try the nunchuk? Seems like the extra stability would be benificial for AP.

Signguy has tried the nunchuk and I think has shelved it for now. The bottom line, I think, was that it didn't give consistent results. It couldn't be trusted....

Found some parts in the mail this afternoon. I'm going to convert the Pulso T over to the Wii.
