CF is so exspensive!
the kit will be like 150 bucks.
Most of those CF frames on the market are really made in China for pennies on the dollar!
But great CF cost about 5 times more than the G10.

If it's a low part number it can be done..
With carbon tube etc.

But yes.. it will be more expensive and is something i would not do on FPV

Hey guys, Pretty much have my frame lined up, I need a controller though...
I have already
Naza, CC3d, KK2.0

are any known to fly well?

Also I went the 500mm version, to swing 9 or 10 inchers, I may FPV it.... Any motors that really kick ass on it ?

I have 500 version on old CC (not CC3d) and with the correct mixing. Im using 10" prop but I dont do 3D and my FPV skills is not that good yet. My 500 size is the one with the thicker plate on tail. One thing that I know most say is that it doesnt matter if the vtail is balanced dead center on the FC but I find thta it flies smooth if its balanced on the FC center x and y axis. I used the camera plate in front to mount cam or battery for both 500 and 400.

My 500 is going some morphing so I havent flown it in a while.

Sounds promising, for 20 bucks i might grab the multi just for shits n gigs

The kk 2.0 flys very well with this mix

Mine is finally up and running with the kk2... just some minor tweaking now...had to change some very random things to get a good mix....

again my setup is a kk2 with 750 kv motors 10x4.7 props, and 3 cell battery on the 400 frame...hovers around 55% throttle...this may save some people some trouble if they have a similar setup..

So initial changes... flip all prop/motors directions to (from looking over head) M1 front left is CCW, M2 front right is CW, M3 rear left is CW, and M4 rear right is CCW.

set the kk2 to VTail.. calibrate your sensors... and start with the mixer settings

CH1:

Throttle: 100
Aileron: -100
Elevator: 100
Rudder: -40
Offset: 0

CH2:

Throttle: 100
Aileron: 100
Elevator: 100
Rudder: 40
Offset: 0

CH3:

Throttle: 95
Aileron: 0
Elevator: -100
Rudder: 100
Offset: 0

CH4:

Throttle: 95
Aileron: 0
Elevator: -100
Rudder: -100
Offset: 0

Now some rough PI values (mainly just a starting point)

Roll:

P gain:55
