It is great to hear that they have fixed this issue and have flown for 72 hours non-stop but am I the only one who cannot figure out what they mean when they tell us to visit "goo.gl/syn3F" ??? I have no idea what this means. Is this supposed to be a website? Anyone?

By the way (and I'm sorry if this is off-topic) What is the bottom line on the later FW revisions for the WK-M? Has the latest one proven to be completely safe and reliable? I have an S800 presently with 5.12 FW and I have been apprehensive to upgrade. However I do have the older GPS so I guess the FOD would not apply to me and this may have been part of the reason that some guys held off on updating, worrying that the newer FW may contribute to the FOD.

Okay, thanks. My S800 has been doing pretty well with the original 5.12 so I was afraid to upset things. I did hear that there were supposed to be some improvements with 5.14... like better stability with one motor out like TahoeEd said, not sure what else there may be but I'll dig into it.

I am flying an Octo on 5.14 with old GPS and an S800 on 5.14 with new GPS so far no problems.. Only a couple of flights with the S800 but more than 20 with the Octo...

If one motor stop, the hexa will start to spin and it will be very hard to control anything less up and down. With the FW, you can switch to Home Lock or Course lock and drive it like in normal mode, still while spinning due the GPS capacity (of course GPS must have enought signal ). I did saw it more stable in a windy day, I use the default gains.

Thanks, I will give it a try and update today. This will give me something productive to do today and keep me out of the strip-bars and crack-dens Although the day is young so if the update goes smoothly...
